Women’s Soccer Remains Undefeated with Dodge Win

 Coming off a conference win on Friday, the PCC Women’s Soccer Team squared off in a non-conference match on Tuesday. This was PCC’s first contest at their temporary home pitch in Havilland, KS, and the win moved them to 2-0 on the season.

Men's Soccer Opens with Win over Indy

The Pratt Community College Men’s Soccer Team opened their 2010 campaign with a hard fought 1-0 win against Independence Community College on Friday. Callum Charlton scored the winning goal just before the halftime whistle. Pratt had several other excellent scoring opportunities in the second half, but could not capitalize on any of them.

Volleyball Goes 2-2 in Opening Tournament

It was a somewhat auspicious beginning for the 2010 Beaver volleyball squad, as the freshman laden team went 2-2 over the weekend in Lamar, Colorado. Pratt defeated Clarendon (TX) and Sheridan (WY), but lost to #21 Laramie County (WY) and Western Wyoming.

Lady Beaver Soccer Team Nets Historic Win

The Lady Beaver Soccer Team opened their inaugural season with a victory over Independence on Friday afternoon. Pratt defeated their Jayhawk Conference opponent 2-1.  Alycia Reed scored the historic first goal for Pratt's women's soccer program, taking a cross from Tanya Morales.

Pratt Campus
The Pratt Community College campus in Pratt is home to an ADN nursing program, on campus LPN to RN program, Practical Nurse (PN) program, allied health courses, Barton County CC Paramedic and EMT courses and is the administrative hub of all of our programs.
Chandler Hall is home to the Pratt Campus of the Chandler School of Nursing and Allied Health, located on the east side of the Pratt Community College Campus. Convenient Parking and a concentrated area for nursing classes and instructor offices are conveniences for students.

Winfield Campus
The Pratt Community College campus in Winfield is located in the Cowley College Allied Health Building. The Winfield program houses an ADN nursing program, Practical Nurse (PN) programs, as well as on site LPN to RN courses.

Nursing Student Elected to Board

The National Student Nurses' Association convention was held in Orlando, Florida. PCC's Laurie Holmes ran for the nomination committee chair for our area and was elected to the national board. Holmes is a Winfield student.

Chandler School of Nursing and Allied Health partner with Kansas Department of Corrections

The Pratt Community College Chandler School of Nursing and Allied Health has received approval from the Kansas State Board of Nursing to add 10 additional students to the LPN to RN online program. The additional students will be admitted into the July start class, beginning in 2010.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the New Addition of Chandler Hall

A ribbon cutting ceremony and unveiling of the new addition of Pratt Community College’s Chandler Hall will take place on October 22 at 10:00 a.m. The ceremony and reception are in honor of George Chandler and his continued support of the nursing program at the college.

New Paramedic class begins Aug. 17

New Course offered for Health Care Workers

The Chandler School of Nursing and Allied Health at Pratt Community College is pleased to announce the development of a new course. Terminology for Health Care Workers (HOC 106) is an all online course for anyone entering the health care field. It will be a required course for all students in the Health Occupations Technology (HOT) program.
