Baseball Drops Series with Barton

The PCC Baseball team dropped a doubleheader at Barton County on Sunday.  The Beavers lost 15-3 and 15-10. 
 

Lady Beavers Go 1-3 in Pratt Tournament

The Seward County Lady Saints won the Pratt Softball Tournament for the second consecutive year defeating Northern Oklahoma in the championship game Sunday. 

Baseball Drops Two at Barton

The Beaver baseball team dropped a doubleheader at Barton County Community College on Saturday.  The Beavers scored single runs in the first and second innings of the first game, and Barton answered with a run in the bottom of the second to make the score 2-1 after two innings.

Pratt Community College Women’s Basketball is a member of the Jayhawk Conference, which is one of the toughest junior college conferences in the nation. The program in past years has produced numerous DI and DII athletes and academic All-Americans. The team continues to strive to be the best they can be both in the classroom and on the hardwood. Freeman Garners Women's BB All-Conference/All Region Recognition

Phylicia Freeman, the high scoring Newark, DE native who paced the PCC Women’s Basketball Team’s offense this season, has been honored as a First Team All-Conference selection and an Honorable Mention All Region selection. Freeman finished the season ranked as the #6 scorer in the Jayhawk Conference and #2 in the Western Division.

Women’s Basketball Closes Season with Loss to Cowley

Like much of the year, the PCC Women’s Basketball Team played a tough first half against Cowley Tuesday night.  In fact, the Beavers led for much of the way, and the game remained a one point contest until just before the halftime buzzer.  In the second half, however, the Tigers were hard to chase, and Pratt fell by a 64-38 margin.
 

Women's Basketball Offense Struggles in Butler Loss

The PCC Women's Basketball Team could only connect on 27 percent from the field on Saturday night, falling to Butler County 82-56.  The Beavers will remain in sixth place in the Jayhawk West with two games remaining in the regular season.

Two committments for 2010-2011

Women's Basketball would like to announce that two players have verbally committed to join the Beaver Basketball family in 2010. Caite Reidel, a 5'10" post player from Wakeeney, Kansas and Holly Harrod, a 5'9" guard from Clinton, Arkansas. The coaching staff is very excited about these players and are anxious to get them on campus in the fall.

Pink Zone in the Dome

Pink Zone in the Beaver Dome…tomorrow evening! Women’s game starts at 6 and Men at 8. Wear as much pink as you can find to raise awareness for cancers! We hope to see each and every one of you in the Dome tomorrow evening.

Season Opener

To all those Beaver fans, our season opens on Monday, November 2 here at the Beaver Dome. Bring your loud voices and come support us as we get our season underway. We look forward to seeing you on Monday night. We will play Friends JV at 6:00. Go Beavers!
