Women’s Soccer Remains Undefeated with Dodge Win

 Coming off a conference win on Friday, the PCC Women’s Soccer Team squared off in a non-conference match on Tuesday. This was PCC’s first contest at their temporary home pitch in Havilland, KS, and the win moved them to 2-0 on the season.

Lady Beaver Soccer Team Nets Historic Win

The Lady Beaver Soccer Team opened their inaugural season with a victory over Independence on Friday afternoon. Pratt defeated their Jayhawk Conference opponent 2-1.  Alycia Reed scored the historic first goal for Pratt's women's soccer program, taking a cross from Tanya Morales.

PCC XC SOLID IN SEASON OPENER AT COWLEY

The Pratt Community College Men’s and Women’s Cross Country teams started their season off Friday, August 27, with a solid opening meet at Camp Quaker Haven in Cowley County. Both the PCC Men and Women are currently running with limited numbers, but should have five runners by the time Region VI rolls around in early November.
 

Men's Soccer Opens with Win over Indy

The Pratt Community College Men’s Soccer Team opened their 2010 campaign with a hard fought 1-0 win against Independence Community College on Friday. Callum Charlton scored the winning goal just before the halftime whistle. Pratt had several other excellent scoring opportunities in the second half, but could not capitalize on any of them.

Volleyball Goes 2-2 in Opening Tournament

It was a somewhat auspicious beginning for the 2010 Beaver volleyball squad, as the freshman laden team went 2-2 over the weekend in Lamar, Colorado. Pratt defeated Clarendon (TX) and Sheridan (WY), but lost to #21 Laramie County (WY) and Western Wyoming.

Baseball Graduates 12 Members 

   

 

Twelve members of the Beaver baseball family graduated from Pratt Community College on Friday May 14, 2010.  The twelve players and support staff members included:  Joey Hinckley, Cole Armitage, Kyle Wells, Montana Prim, Ryan Clark, Justin Freer, Tyler Lough, Caleb Hartman, Travis Sanders, Hans Fritzemeier, Chris Fieger, and Joe Kornbrust.

Kornbrust, DeRouen Named All-Conference

Third baseman Joe Kornbrust and first baseman Trey DeRouen were named to the 2010 All-Jayhawk Conference honorable mention team.  The two Beaver sluggers were selected to the team by the conference's head coaches.
 

Baseball Season Ends with Loss in Playoffs

Pratt's baseball season ended with a loss 10-3 loss to Allen County in the Region VI Sub-Regional Tournament at Johnson County Community College. 
 
The Beavers lost the first game of the double-elimination tournament to Johnson County 9-0.
 
 

Baseball Beats Cloud to Advance to Playoffs

The Pratt Beavers beat Cloud County 11-9 in 10 innings on Sunday to advance to the Region VI Playoffs.  Pratt won the first game of the doubleheader 12-10.

2010 Sophomores Recognized

The 2010 Beaver Baseball sophomore class was recognized in between Saturday's games during the Colby series.  This group of young men were the first recruiting class of Coach Schmidt and his staff. 
 

Game 1 at Cloud Moved to 3pm

The Beaver's first game at Cloud County on Saturday May 1 has been moved to 3:00pm due to wet field conditions.

Baseball to Recognize Sophomores on Saturday

The 2010 PCC baseball team will recognize their sophomore class in a ceremony between Game One and Game Two of Saturday's doubleheader with Colby.  First pitch will be at 1:00pm, with the ceremony at the conclusion of the first game.  The ceremony is expected to begin at approximately 3:00pm.
