Women’s Soccer Remains Undefeated with Dodge Win

 Coming off a conference win on Friday, the PCC Women’s Soccer Team squared off in a non-conference match on Tuesday. This was PCC’s first contest at their temporary home pitch in Havilland, KS, and the win moved them to 2-0 on the season.

Men's Soccer Opens with Win over Indy

The Pratt Community College Men’s Soccer Team opened their 2010 campaign with a hard fought 1-0 win against Independence Community College on Friday. Callum Charlton scored the winning goal just before the halftime whistle. Pratt had several other excellent scoring opportunities in the second half, but could not capitalize on any of them.

Volleyball Goes 2-2 in Opening Tournament

It was a somewhat auspicious beginning for the 2010 Beaver volleyball squad, as the freshman laden team went 2-2 over the weekend in Lamar, Colorado. Pratt defeated Clarendon (TX) and Sheridan (WY), but lost to #21 Laramie County (WY) and Western Wyoming.

Lady Beaver Soccer Team Nets Historic Win

The Lady Beaver Soccer Team opened their inaugural season with a victory over Independence on Friday afternoon. Pratt defeated their Jayhawk Conference opponent 2-1.  Alycia Reed scored the historic first goal for Pratt's women's soccer program, taking a cross from Tanya Morales.

Shooting Sports Club Practices Wednesday Evenings

Anyone who is interested in shooting, or just attending to see what the Shooting Sports Club all about is welcome to come to the practices. The club practices each Wednesday night at the Pratt Gun Club at 6:00 p.m., located ¼ mile North of the college, and East.
 

Wet Wild Wednesday Features Dunk Tank

Venture out to the PCC lawn in front of Novotny/North tonight, from 6 - 10 p.m., to have some fun during Wet Wild Wednesday!  Enjoy cooling off while racing your friends down an inflatable Slip N' Slide, or try to submerge your coach, instructor or favorite PCC staff member in the dunk tank.  For more information, contact Abby Hall at abbyh@prattcc.edu or 620-450-2181.

PCC Shooting Sports Out-Guns Top Colleges

Out of 33 colleges, Pratt Community College was only one of two community colleges to attend the 2010 Association of College Unions International, 42nd Annual Clay Targets Tournament in San Antonio, TX, April 22-25. Five PCC shooters were among over 300 of the best in the nation who competed in six events televised by ESPN-U.

PCC Shooting Sports Qualifies Five for Nationals

In its first year, five members of the PCC Shooting Sports Club qualified to compete in the National Collegiate Clay Target Championship in San Antonio, Texas April 21 through 24.  This is the first time that Pratt Community College will be represented at a national shooting event.  Members include:  Club President Luke Laha, Secretary William Wade, members Reming
