Women’s Soccer Remains Undefeated with Dodge Win

 Coming off a conference win on Friday, the PCC Women’s Soccer Team squared off in a non-conference match on Tuesday. This was PCC’s first contest at their temporary home pitch in Havilland, KS, and the win moved them to 2-0 on the season.

Men's Soccer Opens with Win over Indy

The Pratt Community College Men’s Soccer Team opened their 2010 campaign with a hard fought 1-0 win against Independence Community College on Friday. Callum Charlton scored the winning goal just before the halftime whistle. Pratt had several other excellent scoring opportunities in the second half, but could not capitalize on any of them.

Volleyball Goes 2-2 in Opening Tournament

It was a somewhat auspicious beginning for the 2010 Beaver volleyball squad, as the freshman laden team went 2-2 over the weekend in Lamar, Colorado. Pratt defeated Clarendon (TX) and Sheridan (WY), but lost to #21 Laramie County (WY) and Western Wyoming.

Lady Beaver Soccer Team Nets Historic Win

The Lady Beaver Soccer Team opened their inaugural season with a victory over Independence on Friday afternoon. Pratt defeated their Jayhawk Conference opponent 2-1.  Alycia Reed scored the historic first goal for Pratt's women's soccer program, taking a cross from Tanya Morales.

Intramural Rodeo

To celebrate rodeo week, two beloved annual events were combined for twice the fun!  Teams participated in the Intramural Rodeo as well as the Ag Olympics.  Each team had to have six members, two had to be girls. The events include: calf dress, bale stacking, blind-folded wheel barrow race, steer ride, team skiing, show stick flip and money the hard way, which is when you win by retrieving a ribbon off the tail of a steer.
 
The Ag Olympic and overall winning team was the City Slickers. Team members were: Luke Laha, Tristan Howland, Brianna Martinez, Kevin Callahan, Colt Tomlin and Joe Cordell.
 
The Intramural Champions were the Mexican Beavers. Team members were: Cisco Maldonado, Keagan Smith, Clay Shaft, James Sparks, Alicia Ramirex and Meagan Zarr.
